I think it has been tried before, actually there are some steel silhouette targets already cut out and ready to go! I always thought I might like to try it, just another excuse for more guns I guess, LOL!

There were some members who wanted to try it but they fizzled when it actually came to doing the work of putting on a match. They are the ones who had the original targets made.
Then there was the group that wanted to run matches by using the IPSC targets and props to which they were welcome to do on the condition that they provide some targets and or props as well........that group fizzled at that point.
As I said in the thread you reference............you need a core group of dedicated members to get something like that off the ground.
The exact same thing happened with IDPA until with at least 2 failed attempts that were only corrected when Onagoth stepped up to the plate in a huge way.
