If it is indeed a Siamese "smiling tiger", and it is in good shape, you did just fine. I have one, but I don't recall what I paid. It isn't in the best condition.
Here's mine, as for the bore, mine has plenty of rifling but a projectile will slip two thirds down the length of the barrel & it dosen't take much to push it though the rest.
