Deleting stored messages.

Try to delete stored messages but it doesn't delete them. Any info would be appreciated.

Went to inbox. Hit yes to confirm but doesn't delete. Maybe you have to be a paid member.

Says I still have 156 stored messages out of 500.

Usually I select the messages by the check boxes, select the "delete" option from the "selected messages" drop down.
Then hit "proceed".

No you don't have to be paid member.

Yes. I know that. I'm talking about when you hit empty folder from stored messages. When you hit yes to confirm. It doesn't delete the folder.

Click on the envelope icon at the top of the screen

A drop down window will pop up

Then click "show all" At bottom of window

Once you click "show all", you'll be directed to a new page with all your messages.

There is a Square box on the right side corresponding to each message.

Check the boxes beside the messages you wish to delete

You can go between all 20or so pages of messages, just keep clicking, the forum will remember ALL your selections.

Once you have selected all the messages you would like to delete, scroll to the bottom of the page

Click on "choose action"

Another window will pop up,

Select "leave conversations"

Then scroll all the way back to the bottom and click the "GO" button

Then click the "save" button in the window that pops up


Congratulations, you have now deleted a message(s)


Yes, its not easy... but I'm amazed and grateful that all the messages got ported over to the new forum. Pretty amazing
