Just curious if there are any owners of this scope out there? Just looking for general feedback on build quality, glass quality, tracking, etc. I was considering an Athlon Ares etr but stumbled on this and from what I've found they are quite similar in features but this comes in a few hundred cheaper. Thanks in advance.

I am still waiting for mine ordered early March. My guess is not that many of these scopes are actually in CGN’ers hands, explaining the lack of comments/reviews. Many guys are probably waiting like me. I decided to be the guinea pig based on the good reviews from other countries. If mine can finally get here, I will make sure to let you know what I think.

The number of Delta Javelins in Canada are pretty few and far between at the moment. IIRC Mystic Precision made mention of personally checking it out recently.

The Delta Javelin and Athlon Ares are related scopes just like the Delta Stryker and Athlon Cronus are (ie made by same OEM but the each brand's specs). You can expect same/similar quality but slightly different features, reticle choices, etc. Price is more a factor of brand power and country-base (Delta is based in Poland) rather than optics quality.

See my comment on the Delta Javelin in the Vortex PST thread below.

Ordered mine from Hirsch Precision and like it a lot - more than my PST Gen2.

Have not tried or seen the Athlon Ares, but from what I’ve read, they both come out of the same factory in China. The Javelin is cheaper and comes with a few extra items in the box that the Athlon doesn’t have.

Only drawback of the Javelin compared to the Vortex or the Athlon is the limited 10 year warranty.

Been using the Javelin for over a year now, only good thing to say about it, clear image at every setting, turret have sharp clics, reticle is perfect for précision shooting, my best scope yet.
