Hello everyone hope all is good, I have my heart set on these 2 optics due to reviews I’ve read here on cgn . I’m not sure where in the GTA I’m able to look through them before purchase so I’ll take your opinions on which is better and why! Thank you all gun nutz

Hey, we are mostly shooting Rivals now. I dont have any negative feedback on the Stryker, but I am satisfied with the Apex. Great people to work with, local support. I struggled finding much on Apex, but our Fclass shooter runs a Stryker.

We imported Delta scopes after reading reviews comparing them favourably with top-end scopes at the best price possible. They are used by many top FClass and PRS shooters and they are seeing use by snipers in the field.

We have Apex products due soon and it would like to have an unbiased comparison side by side.

Regards,

Peter

I doubt there is any really super significant difference, turrets are setup a bit differently, glass may be very slightly different, reticle choices, how many people can really pick out that difference in glass, is hard to say. I'd have no issues with grabbing another Delta, or a Tract, but, probably would go with Apex anyway, just because it's being done by Cdn's. In that class of scope, from the Japanese makers, it just comes down to what features you like best with the turrets and reticles of the two, and there are at least 10 more brands out there, that the choice is the same on, just slightly different cosmetics, from the same mfgrs in Japan. Zeiss V4 is a Japanese build too. There isn't a bad scope there, in that class of scope, And I think Apex understood what they were getting into, in the market sector they chose to start off in, and designed a good product for that market segment.

To my eyes, there isn't a significant difference in the overall quality and usability despite different Japanese OEMs. I own both the Apex Rival and Delta Stryker (actually I have owned and used other LOW manufactured products of the same base chassis as well).

I think it comes down to what each shooter prefers and/or can adapt to regarding reticle choices as the main deciding factor. The type of use (ie range of shooting) may be of some influence as well since the parallax adjustments are a bit different. Arguably, the Apex Rival reticle and turrets are more centred on the PRS gaming type of optic, whereas the Delta Stryker (LRD-1T reticle) is more traditional 'tactical' or even long-range hunting orientated activities.
