Delta Styker HD scopes

Just spoke to a Canadian dealer this morning which may be bringing these in. I am crossing my fingers...I don't want to mention the dealer just yet. Richard Utting( youtube) does really good reviews. He gives the good, the bad and the ugly on everything and he absolutely raves about the Stryker series from Delta optical. He also gives the titanium series a good review but says they really hit it out of the park with the Stryker series....

Polish based company with products made in Japan and other Asian countries. Pass.

I know their Titanium and Stryker lines are made in Japan( which is what I am interested in). Japan makes really good kit now and have been for years.Everyone raves about March scopes which are made in Japan. In fact I think they are made in the same factory. I would love to have nothing but Swarovski, Tangent Theta, Zeiss etc but sometimes I just don't want to spend that kind of coin and apparently the Delta Stryker line which is made in Japan will rival just about anything on the planet but at less than 1/2 the price and in some cases 1/3 of the price. Is this true? I don't know but I would give them a try if someone in Canada brings them in.
Also, If I were a dealer of these scopes I would only bring in the lines which are made in Japan.

The problem I see is that there's very little info available on the net about these. That's a huge red flag. And they're not inexpensive. Yes, some Japanese made optics are very good, but the factories only produce what they're told.
Poland is known for vodka and car theft. Optics? Not so much, even if they're not made there.
And I'm not an optics snob. i think high end Meopta scopes are some of the best available at any price, but they're a well established company with history.

Fair enough...but that is why they are so cheap right now...scopes like that from well know companies are double the price and sometimes more than double..
I know people said the same thing about Nightforce at one time as well as Vortex, Sightron, March, Tangent Theta etc...It's a chance you take cause once they get established and well known their prices go up accordingly...I sure am glad I was an earlier adopter of Tangent Theta but as mentioned your point certainly is 100% valid...
One last point, if their scopes are as good as claimed the likelihood of them succeeding and becoming a major player is very good...

The Stryker looks very similar in size/specs to the Razor Gen II, Athlon Cronus, the new Revic PMR.. and others, so I would suspect that it's a product coming out of Light Optics Works in Japan.

Hirsch Precision decided to bring these into Canada.I told them if they brought them in I would order 2 and that is exactly what I did.I called Hirsch yesterday and confirmed an order for a 4.5-30x56 Stryker as well as the 5-50x56 Stryker. Now I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. If they are even anywhere near as good as claimed by Richard Utting I will be a happy camper...
here is a video on several scopes of which the delta stryker is included..it is well worth watching the entire video..
if you want to skip to the delta stryker it is around the 22 minute mark..He covers the Athlon just before the Delta which he is also very impressed with..
