I'm convinced that building the number of firearms owners is the most important long term goal in ensuring those rights are protected. I look at the actual logistics of converting a person into a licensed owner (training) and I suspect that part of the industry could be more efficient. The PAL course I went to was offered by a Edmonton Police Detective on his time off and I've noticed that many other instructors are individuals rather than full fledged firearms businesses with their own websites and store locations.
For individuals and small businesses:
1) Is there demand by firearms instructors (PAL/RPAL and hands on training) to have a website where they can list their profiles and course dates?
2) Is there need for online registration and payment services for such classes? (It appears independent instructors work on cash/cheque basis still)
There would be a focus on firearms courses, but I don't see why it couldn't include first aid, self defense and other related courses.
This forum area is great, but most of us are already converts and hence licensed and it's the wider world out there that needs encouraged to take the leap. When they do go looking for courses, it should be easy for them to find one in their area and register. I have to think most instructors want to instruct and it's discouraging to offer additional courses with the administrative effort that's required to go with it.
This is a fact finding question, if there's already an online resource open to the public that organizes this information then great, let me know.

- Free to list

- Nominal admin fee% + CC transaction fees
