Finally on days off so I could take my new Norc M4 to the range and wring it out. What a great gun! Ran flawlessly and was just a plain fun gun to shoot. Took a while to get it sighted in, still learning about the sighting system on this platform. I was shooting at 25 yards off a bag with the rifle supported on the hand guard.
One thing I noticed is the rear sight is loose. It has about a 1/8 of an inch deflection (pivots) side to side. It seems to return to center but I'm guessing this is not normal.
Another thing I noticed it would dent some of the brass on ejection, about 7 in ten. What would cause this?
Besides those few wrinkles I am extremely impressed and would certainly recommend the M4 as an entry level AR.
