depriming cases with crimped primers

I just did some 223 rem that had a few crimped primers. I used a standard Lee sizing die and had no issues, they popped right out. Their depriming rod is quite robust and never had an issue.

I use my lee dies to decap 223 with a crimp as well no problems. Then I use a rcbs swaging die to remove the crimp. Then if I find a tough one when repriming I use the reamer to finish it off. It's not so much decapping it is getting rid of the crimp so you can get the new primer in.
