Hey there, I'm having some issues with my Derya Mk10. I will chamber a round, either with the bolt release or with the charging handle, then a good 60% of the time the gun will not fire. I hear it click but there is no indent on the primer at all, and it doesn't fire. It does sometimes function properly, but that is becoming the exception instead of the rule. I have noticed that the bolt closes a bit sluggishly on some rounds, and normally on others, it seems like most of them time it closes slowly it will not fire. This can happen at any point while shooting through a magazine, with factory or reloaded ammo. I have torn the gun completely apart, cleaned and lubed everything, torn the bolt apart as well, all I noticed there was that the firing pin spring was slightly kinked, but barely. So I'm now at a loss for what's causing this. Any thoughts?

I really love this gun, but if it doesn't work reliably it's not useful.

Thanks much in advance!

Sounds like a stupid question but do you try to knock the bolt forwards a bit when it is sluggish.

I have not tried that, it does look like its going completely into battery. But maybe it's not? I'll take a look at that, maybe there's a safety that stops it from firing unless it's fully locked up. Thanks!

Hope that is all that is the issue with it. If the lock isnt up I think it blocks the firing pin so It could cause the issue. Probably ammo related try the sluggish rounds in the barrel next time you take it off they may just be tight due to manufacturing differences.

Seems to be an issue where the extractor either doesn't pop over the rim of the shell sometimes, coupled with some of my slug reloads having slight imperfections in the low brass portion of the hull. I'm going to try out some high brass factory as well and reload some high brass reloads.

i have a mk-10, in the first few times i took it out, had a few stove pipes and what not...the last bunch of times, no issues, bang everytime....empties shoot like 10 ft away.....all the mags have wear marks now...i think that is the trick, lube and mag break in !!!

I clipped the magazine springs a bit as well, I found a full magazine had a tendency to push so hard on the bottom of the bolt that it would slow it down and occasionally not have enough momentum to go fully into battery.
