I've had my Derya MK 12 for almost a year now, absolutely love the gun. But I'm looking for some feedback on chokes and barrel devices. I need a Turkey choke and was wondering what people have had success with. I've found that the factory full choke simply doesn't pattern tightly at all with my Turkey load, and I have enough of the shells that it's cheaper to get a better choke than find a new load.
Also looking at the Carlson's Rifled Choke, I have very good results with slugs out about 50 yards, but am hoping that this choke may help me stretch that accuracy a bit farther (maybe to 75 yards?).
The third thing I'm interested in is the 6" barrel extension, who has has one? Do you find it makes a difference in patterning or velocity? Would it be possible (or even practical) to get someone to make a run of rifled barrel extensions (probably daydreaming here)?
I'm also curious about people's results combining Turkey and rifled chokes with the barrel extension. Any actual experience is appreciated.
