Derya pump and bolt action 9mm pcc

couldn't agree more.
A bolt 9 has been on my list since I lost my PCC in a deep lake.
I have a fistfull of dollars for the first vendor who brings them in.

OK, mine came today... 16" barrel pump. While I haven't taken it to the range, I am scratching my head about just how to properly pump the action. Like, how to open the action? .... you just pull back on the front handguard with all your strength until it lets go?

I assume it's a blow-back action, but I'm wondering how easy it will be to shoot a 10 round magazine, let alone take it to a PCC match.

Unlike my pump shotguns (or my pump 22, or my old Remington pump 308 Win) there is no button to press to release the slide. Just yank HARD?

But you end up getting its' Fudd furniture cope version instead, because everything in Kanukistan is either unavailable, permanently sold out, "banned" or just plain sucks :





( I got all excited about ordering it from SFRC, until I noticed that it's the ugly duckling Fudd version they carry.... I'll continue waiting for the good stuff / SBR version in the first pic, lol. )

No bolt release inside the trigger guard. Is a magazine release on the right side that you can reach with your index finger once you take it off the trigger.

Very strange.

Seems to not be very lefty friendly. Cross bolt safety moving the wrong way under the lefty trigger finger, mag release set for right index finger.

If there's no lock release maybe it's a spring loaded lock up? Try pushing forward, then pulling back.

That's what I was thinking as well.... blow back pump action with the only thing keeping it from running semi a super heavy recoil spring.

It will likely get a bit better after breaking it in, looking foward to some more information.

Most manufacturers refuse to put a reversible safety and magazine release into their guns. I'm not an engineer, but it can't be that complicated.

I’m not too concerned about mag release positions or safety’s
My issue with 9mm carbines has always been blowback to the face and with these being a pump action it should be ok
