Is it the same action as the TM-22 with the pistol grip and AR-style fore-end?

The older versions I've seen seem to run quite reliably. Wondering if the Cadet is similar.

nope, not like the TM22 with alloy receiver nor the polymer receiver (feather) but an upgrade of the Standard.
