Derya tm22 trade is this worth it ??

So I have a chance to trade my bullet proof vest for a gen 1 tm22 short barrel. Has a bushnell 3-9x40, a feyachi red dot, and then a pinty 2.5-10x40 AOEG Red/Green Illuminated Mil-dot Tactical Rifle Scope with Red/Green Dot Laser. Original fixed stock, Tna fake reverse suppressor, comes with case, bipod and couple extra cans of paint as it’s been painted matte tan with matte green highlights. 2-10rnd mags and 1-25rnd mag. It’s listed for 750, and I would need to add 200-250$ with my bullet proof vest. The vest has four plates made of Kevlar nylon woven - 2 in the front and 2 in the back. It is what is used as a undercover officer. Fits well under clothes and suits.

Curious if you guys think it is a good even trade, and also wondering how things would be for cleaning the rifle since it has been painted of coarse inside is obvious with cleaning but what about outside beings it has been painted

I would prefer a long handguard style like the new second gens, but a short one would also be cool if I can get a dlask short barrel for it

I’ve thought of that as well, just haven’t found one for less than 579.99 before tax. Also I don’t use the body armour either lol. I kinda wanna keep it but at the same time I dunno if I should or shouldn’t. Plus just trading the vest with 200/250$ cash would save me some coin
 
Definitely a budget conscious owner, the finest (LOL) optics from AMAZON and the best firearm finish available at Canadian Tire.

Vests sell fast in KIJI in Toronto, kids are paying good for them.
Friend of a friend of a friend's friend apparently has been selling box fulls this summer.

Life's to short for s.hitty things, buy yourself a short GSG if your on a budget
 
Version one of these the safety was backwards, up for fire down for safe. Dlask is no longer making the short barrels, Derya group on FB a guy contacted them and this is what he was told (shared a pic of the email he got). I would be cautious of the spray painting, how much paint got inside things like the trigger openings etc? Like others have said, buy a new one, I own 2 of them and they are sweet rifles and very well made. Sell the vest and use that cash to get the new one perhaps.....

Ah dang !! Was thinking a small dlask short barrel would look awesome but crud that they’re not making them anymore ���� Yea that was also a small concern I had as well as to how he taped it off before spraying it if he even did tape it off lol. I haven’t had any luck with selling the vest, I mean it would be nice to have and keep if poop ever hits the fan but at the same time would hate for it to sit around not used as well.

The tm22 that’s he has it’s listed for 750$
