Hey everyone, In the spirit of buy, buy, buy
I purchased one of these Derya rifles
People have mentioned that it’s a commercial buffer tube. Has anyone
Changed their stock and can you confirm?
I got the tan one and would like to put the tan MOE buttstock on it.
Cheers!

It does take a commercial size buffer tube. The threads of the butt stock it comes with are very flat/shallow though so the outside diameter of the threads are different (the OD of the stock threads is smaller than the OD of commercial buffer tube threads) which means that the anti-rotation castle nut does not fit over a commercial size buffer tube. A little work with a dremel, hand files and sandpaper is needed to make the hole slightly larger (to fit over the threads of the commercial size buffer tube) and the indent key in the nut also needs to be made a little smaller to fit the notch in the commercial buffer tube. Overall, it’s a pretty easy mod to do to get the commercial size buffer tube work.

In Case anyone is interested. Milspec buffer tubes will also fit as i have one on my gun atm. The indexing plate needs to be a milspec as well however.
