hi guys just bought a desert eagle and need a lot of info about reloading . like to know what powder what primer what grain bullet. any info will help.

In my Desert Eagle .44 I load to max. using H110 with all the different bullet weights and that is what this gun prefers.

180 gr. - 31.5 gr. H110
200 gr. - 28.0 gr. H110
240 gr. - 24.0 gr. H110

These are the loads that work and function well for me. The Desert Eagle prefers hot loads for everything to work properly, plus you get that satisfying Boom and Flame.

Try the Hornady 265 gr JSP it is designed for the 444 Marlin but feeds extremely well in a DE I use blue dot as it seems to be a cleaner powder, do not be afraid to use loads for a Contender, the DEs are built like a tank and will work well with loads considered too hot for most revolvers

H110 is the one and only way to go for a Desert Eagle for me (if I had one, but I only have a 44 mag 629), BIG flames. You could use H4227 too if you don't like muzzle flash.

I own a .44 revolver and I use H110 and HS-6 powders, for bullets I only used 180grHP, 200grFP and 240grHP bullets (300gr is more $$)...

btw the loads that 757fixer posted are MAX loads you might want to start with 2gr less for H110, but don't go below 3% with H110.
