it is a rather nice copy of the DSR1 but it delivers the same accuracy as a Remington SPS which is 1 moa I dont know .I did get a chance to handle 1 at last years Shot Show 1/2 the features for half the price

US price is $3275-3585.

I bought the December 2008 issue of Special Weapons since it had the Desert Tactical on the front cover. Too bad I missed the Kel-Tec RFB issue :(

The 338 Lapua version was getting 1/4 moa up to 300 yards. Keep in mind though that's 3 round group not 5.

Can't say that I'm overly impressed with this rifle. Every bullpup design precision/target rifle I have fired had horrable triggers. Interesting design but ill take a bolt action any day!

In the article, that concern was addressed.

"The most common complaint about bulllpups is the poor trigger, engendered by the fact that the trigger is separated from the actual fire control mechanism by several inches".

"... the trigger is as good as any we have ever encountered on any precision tactical rifle. The trigger on our test SRS broke at just less than 2 pounds with no perceptible creep or overtravel".

By the way it is a bolt action rifle. :p

the only bullpup Ive fired is a actual DSR-1 and man that trigger was the nicest Ive ever felt and it should be for the price.

tse is supposed to be a dealer but i don't think they have an idea when they will get any. The owner, Nick is a nice guy and will take the time to talk on the phone to answer any questions...they will let you put a deposit down over the phone but you have to get someone in the US to export it for you, so you have to do most of your own paperwork on the Can. side. Selling to the public is a secondary priority, his main goal is to win a military contract as it transitions to the 338 so it may be a while before you can customize options ie barrel length, other calibers and color combinations other than the 3 or so available. There is talk on some other forums that it can handle a 408 with a barrel and bolt conversion but Nick says the current model is not designed with that intention.

:p My bad!

Im really thinking of getting one of these rifles,
I really like the compactness of this gun,
I need opinions, because I was leaning towards the PGW at first.
Has anybody shot this rifle, what do you guys recommend.
Thanks

I saw the video's on youtube,
looks pretty accurate as well,
I will be mainly target shooting, but want to drag it in the bush as well,
cant really convince myself to buy the DSR for that fact.
The SRS seems like a good alternative at about 1/2 the price.
