detachable mag for sako AV

hi yall.i have a sako AV lefthand chambered for 3006.i know this rifle was offered with a detach.mag as an option but i was wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket kit to convert my hinged floorplate to detach.mag ?is any machining required?thanx.

Sako did have a detachable magazine option for the AII but I don't think it was available for the AV.

I can understand why you are thinking about changing the hinged floorplate option to a detachable magazine... But, I really prefer the hinged floorplate model, on the SAKO AV because I think it's probably one of best designs out there. I find its really user friendly and so much easier to unload then say a Winchester Model 70 with the hinged floorplate model.
