Detachable Shotshell Carrier Question

Just a quick question regarding S&J Hardware's Detachable Shotshell Carrier.

I picked one up with the plan of attaching it to my receiver. My question is if there is any surface prep required before sticking on the velcro (ex wipe area with an alcohol pad)

Any other experiences with the product would also be welcomed.

Make sure surface is free from contaminates such as dirt,grease,oil,wax,etc.

Use a light thinner that will evaporate free of residues, ei. Nitro solvent,acetone,alcohol,etc.
Make sure surface is dry before application.
apply a generous amont of force to aplication and avoid excessive loads for 24hrs until glue (tape) has reached maximum set strength.
Avoid direct contact with oils or solvents as this will degrade the glue on the tape.

I use alcohol to wipe it down first. They are a great product!

Just what these guys said. Alcohol pad ,quick wipe down and let. Sticky side set for a while.
Don't woRry will not damage finnish if\when you take it off.
All new DSC come with an alcohol pad now
Most of our dealers have them in stock.

I was wondering about the differences in greens actually. Not to sound too vain, but I've got a bunch of foliage green furniture on my shotty now. If the carrier's are a real deep olive drab I'd rather get black to go with the reciever.

. . . color-matching. My girlfriend would be proud.

Yep the green is a dark green. So may want to go with black.
