Hello Everyone

It was fun to find out about this forum and place :) I am originally active in airsoft world and avoid real firearms as I prefer shooting plastic pieces at my buddies than throwing lead at my enemies :)

Not much about me, just a regular dude working research in downtown toronto and spending my time studying. When I get free time that I can spare, I spend it with my gf or go airsoft at siege.

Aside from playing, I enjoy building airsoft guns and writing computer programs. For now I am focused on python and android programming.

wow, I did not expect this many replies here :)

This sounds like an awesome start. I heard of this place from a friend that is a real gun lover. I recently started to work on a full DD airsoft gun and managed to score a butt stock for it. It is far better quality than most airsoft parts.

Now I am thinking of getting hold of real sights too.

Welcome! Nothing like airsoft for force on force! I played airsoft for 4 years before getting into "real steel". I don't have as much time for it as I'd like anymore, but the last time I played I was way faster on target and much more accurate (and stayed in semi so skills would be transferable). So I think shooting makes a better airsoft player. Plenty here and in competitive shooting use airsoft for cheap indoor training as well...not usually force on force though...just practicing target transitions etc. with GBBPs.

So get your RPAL already!

Hey Dev, have you you even had a chance to shoot the real thing yet? I'm sure there some gunnies in your area on here that would happily take you to the range for a sampling...

I did when I was a kid. For now I am happy with airsoft believe it or not. I was thinking of going to a range to shoot using pistols.

Personally I love guns but too scared to ever own a real steel yet.

I actually have been playing airsoft for two years now. I am a member of ASC forum with the same username :) I guess I have a better discipline than most of my friends which is helpful.
