Does anyone know of any dewat Lee Enfields available for sale? I was just contacted by someone off another board I frequent and his local legion branch was just given a very nice 1943 LB No 4 MK I*. They don't want to keep it unless it gets deactivated, and I said I would look around to see if I could find one that was already mucked up in order to possibly trade for the good one. Can anybody help save a poor, defenceless Enfield?

Try Collectors Source. I've bought from them before... great guys to deal with and honest too.
They currently have two (2) Long Branch No.4 Mk II* deactivated Enfields for sale (1942 & 1943 dated).
Another option would be to have the Enfield that was donated to the Legion deactivated. I believe that deactivation runs about $100.

Staples - the whole goal here is not to deactivate the rifle. If I can find one that is already done and save this one, I'll be happy. Thanks to everyone for all the replies and PM's, by the way. I'll do a little more investigation on this and see where we go.
