DI 42 9mm ammo info please

Hi Folks, I picked up some very clean 9mm ammo marked DI 42. I am assuming this is Dominion 1942. Is it corrosive? Is it sub machine gun ammo and therefore rather hot for using in anything modern (Storm) or pistols?

Defence Industries(DI) a crown corp managed by CIL(Dominion) Boxer primed NC. When the Inglis Browning was adopted it was meant to use this ammo.

Beware!

Before you shoot any of this, disassemble one cartridge. You may find that the case is of balloon-head construction. I wouldn't shoot it.
