I don't know if this is the right forum for this but here it goes.

I have a friend who's looking for an old model diana air rifle from the 60's.
He used to own one when he was a kid. The best description he could give me was that the way you #### it is you pull down a lever that is under the barrel.

Hewas looking at the newer diana's but he says the cocking lever for those is on the side.

Does this ring a bell to anyone model number or information wise?
I am trying to locate one of these models for him.

I'm not sure Diana ever made an underlever. Check out the German made Weihrauch air rifles. Beautiful craftmanship and top quality. They make both under-levers, break barrels, and side levers.

Diana in the 50's, 60's and 70's was made both in Germany and in Scotland. The two companies were not affiliated - long story.

Only two under lever Diana's I can think of - the militia style from the turn of the century to the 30's, and the model 50.
The 50 should be memorable - it had almost a full length stock. Over the years it was availalbe in two models, the 50 and the 50T01.
I think this is the second model.

These are BSA but the Diana militia looks similar.

I have a Weirauch hk-97 myself and it is a very well made and very accurate air rifle.

I have a Chinese-made undercocker, got it for Christmas from my godfather when I was 10, don't know anything about it, it says "Arrow" on the frame but that's it. Sadly, the leather gas sceal was long ago crumbled so she has been a safe queen for years.
