Bent barrels can be straightened fairly easily unless it looks like a horseshoe.......Harold a set of 2x4 bending blocks and a lrg eyebolt/washer in the middle will take care of that.......

Just remember to put a piece of rubber hose over the barrel and under the eye bolt as to not FU the bluing.............Usually someone dry fired them with the barrel cocked and bent the barrel.........Good luck............Harold
 
I brought the gun to my Dad to tune up and replace the spring, when I got it back it the shots were 2', yes feet, high and the stock was cracked. He won't fess up to it, so what can you do. I just took back my model 54 from him leaving him with the BSA airsporter. I really miss the model 34 for birds! I did execute a nuisence racoon with the the 54, just destroyed it!
Thanks for the tips, I am going to trust the old man, a retired millwright, so hopefully he can bend the barrel back!
