Hey Guys;

My gorgeous wife & beautiful daughter bought me a Diana Model 48 Sidelever in 22 from an estate for Father's Day. I finally got it to the range & it was impressive, in fact it might be the best trigger I have ever tried on an air rifle.

I had hoped the pointed hunting pellets would shoot better, but the flat top Meisterkugeln professional line were best. Even as a kid, I always liked the pointed pellets, lol...

Here's a pic of the rifle and how it performs @10m. Top group is from my Walther Terrus break barrel in 22, I was checking it's zero. Bottom group is from the Diana.

What a nice gift for Father's Day. Congratulations. You should get a great deal of enjoyment from that powerful springer.

For me air rifles bring me back to being a kid. Before all this crazy gun control crap, we could walk down the street with our air guns & go have fun. Rarely did a kid step out of line as it meant losing their beloved air rifle!

Oh, I forgot to say the scope is a Hawke 2-7x32AO and works great!

Nice groups but looks like that scope is parallax adjustable and I'll bet it will shoot even better if you tweak that just a bit.

A friend has the same rifle and I helped dial his parallax in and it started shooting the same hole.

If it is not adjustable for parallax putting a scope on that is will make a difference.

Thanks, yes the scopes on my air rifles are AO so that you can adjust parallax. Playing with pellets will improve things to, and there's guys that would shoot circles around me wrt ability. Air guns are tons of fun!

Here's my PCP Webley Raider 10 shot repeater in 177

The Diana has a Hawke Vantage 2-7x32AO scope on it, air rifle rated.
The Raider is PCP, so I put a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40AO on it...
And the Terrus has a Simmons 3-9AO that came with it when I got it.

The Diana is now my favourite, I think... Lol
