Diana Pro Compact Barrel Weight

So I have a Diana 34 Pro Compact that's in great shape, but I prefer to shoot it with the barrel weight removed. Problem is that the factory didn't blacken the metal right to the end of the barrel. It's a reddish color there. It's a cosmetic thing in my mind.

Anyone know of someone who makes a replacement for this barrel weight that's made of light-weight material??

That would give it eye-appeal while keeping it lighter.

The other 2 options would be either to get a blackening kit, or sell it and buy something else.

Reddish colour as in rust? Try soaking it in oil. How is the brake attached? Is it threaded?

Definitely not rust. Maybe I'll have to post pics. Best way to describe it is that it's like blackening, only reddish pink. I may take steel wool to the area and use a blackening kit.

It's attached by 2 set screws underneath. Some red loctite was used to keep the screws from backing out.
