Did any CGN'ers Attend Landsborough Auctions on 2/16/08

I spent a long and interesting day at the Landsborough Auctions Military Sale yesterday. There were over 1000 lots. Picked up some great stuff at some pretty good prices. I'll post some pictures later on today.

Items include an Original Waffen-SS recruiting Poster, German Trench knife, iron cross, and an assortment of Nazi badges & medals, arm bands and a collection of 200 German Military Propaganda photos of the Western Front.

Prices were crazy for the first 3 hours or so, but seemed to level off to the "semi-sane" level as the day worn on and the crazies spend their reserves.

Anyone else attend? If so did you buy anything?

I stayed till 3:30 + left after the framed Canadian + German medals were finished(lot 444),I was planning on staying for the whole thing but the auctioneers let drag on for first 3 hrs + didn't speed up till they realized half the crowd had left + they were only 1/3 of the way.I bought the WW1 german sawback bayonet.There's a few lots I would like to know what they went for could you let me know?

It was a great auction just to attend + handle that much militaria.
