Did Marlin Finally Listen????

Well, i bought a new stainless Guidegun a week ago and took it out of the safe to clean it up. I am now noticing that the forestock is much slimmer than the ones on my last three Guideguns. Slimming down the forestock has been a topic of discussion on many lever discussion boards and now looking at this new one i think maybe Marlin is doing this???

...............think i'll thicken it up with some bedliner though.

One of their reps asked about what people thought of the forestocks on one of the Marlin sites a few months back. Sounds like they followed through on what they said.
