...with the high number of countries that officially employed the TT-33 Pistol, i'm curious how many of them actually marked their TT-33 pistols with a marking specific to the individual country?

Or were the most simply left in the Original Soviet markings only?

And

Perhaps they didn't actually produce them, but rather simply used (in mass quantity) those provided by the Soviets and made within the Soviet Union before being shipped off to Angola?

Along with Cuban soldiers...........Harold

Just off the top of my head countries that actually serial produced the TT-33

Russia
Romania
Hungary
Poland
Yugoslavia
PRC
PRK

I've examined many and have not seen them marked by other using countries to date.

I have had a Hungarian Model 48 for many years. At the time I got it, the only ones available were a very small number which were believed to originate in Angola.

It is marked with the Hungarian coat-of-arms on the grips (wheat stalks surrounding the Glorious Workers' and Peasants' crest, in this case a crossed Hammer and Wheat-Ear, the whole illuminated in rays of light from the surmounting Star). Major parts are marked with the factory designation "02", which is FEG in Budapest. It is also marked with the year of production: 1952.

Hope this helps.
