Did Rem make an 1100 in 16 and 28?

I have an SP10, an 1100 X 20 and an 1187 X 12 and finally broke down and scored an 1100 in 410.

Did Rem make a semi in 16?

I know they made a 28 in the 50/60's 1147. Did they ever make a 28 gauge in 1100?

Yes for sure in the 28ga (I know a guy who has one). I think they did in the 16ga, but I can't confirm as I've never seen one.

There was a 4 gun set at Laurentian Trading post - 12, 20, 28, and 410, with the same serial #. IIRC they were going for $2500 in the early 80's.

Yes, for sure in 28. The 4-gun Skeet boys demanded such, and it was part of the
uniform of the days in the 60's and 70's to have all 4.

They still make the 1100 in 28ga. I ordered one this spring, new from remington. Its a 1100 sporting 28. comes with four extended chokes.

yep they made 1100 in 12, 20 16, and the rare 410 model

OK, got to say it.

I have a buddy that picked up two shotguns off a guy last year. Both Legit, and got both for 600.00
One was an as new 1100 in 28 guage. The guy gave him the original box of shells he purchased wit the gun, and a Browning OU in 410 that was Immaculate.

Talk about a steal eh?

Yep! they made it in 28, I didnt no they were still making it! Paid almost a grand for mine - sporting model 25" barrel, rem chokes.

Id say the guy that paid $600 bucks got a pretty FINE deal.

There worth $1025 new at most shops. They do still come in the 16 gauge also.
