gday, just lookin at the RCM range an wondered how they went in Canada?

Also has anyone got one an reloads? could you get anywhere near factory velocitys??

I'm kidding, but just barely. I don't know anyone who has one, rarely see them in shops, and have never run into anyone at the range with one. If you buy one, you'd better get lots of brass.

I had a 338 RCM for a couple years and liked it.
The rifle shot very well and was very comfortable to carry.
I never tried matching or exceeding 338 Win. Mag. performance, but I think it was a tad faster than my 338-06.
Easy to reload for and case life is very good.
I parted with it only because I had other interests and too many similar rifles.

One trend of note. Some Canadian retailers are offering good deals on these calibers in Ruger rifles. Don't know if it is promotional or overstock.

there is ammo on the shelf here.

even brass for the 300 rcm, 338 rcm brass are hard to get (seems the 338 rcm is the hit) ...

good idea in a real combo rifle (short and open sights), if someone is not happy with 300 rcm a simple rechamber job and it s a 300 wsm but rcm is great.
