Been desiring a 7.62 x 39 AR type rifle for quite awhile.

Seems like lots of issues with them. Some interesting solutions have come out from various companies.

Have been taking my time before jumping into this arena because of the issues.

The RRA looks like a good piece. Any thoughts on it or on x39 AR systems in general? Want to make a move an purchase one but obviously do not want a dog.

Thanks for your opinions and experiences.

Bought a Windham WW15 about a month back and it's been running like a champ on cheap surplus. Out of 200 rounds I've had only 3 failures to fire and that was from the bag of loose ammo that was sitting in my trunk for two years. Anyway, couldn't be happier. Also, lifetime warranty.

That's a pretty good price for it. I think IRG is very close to that but with some more accessories and in US funds.

I know what you are talking about with the guy on the phone. Always seems pissed but he answers my questions to the T and they have excellent pricing on stuff. I recommend them.

It's 1,099.99 USD (1,364.85 CAD) + shipping on IRG and the only difference is that it comes with 1000 rounds of non corrosive HP. The one at Kelly's is $850 and 1000 rds of non corrosive hollowpoints is $249 at Canadaammo which comes to $1100. Assuming the purchaser lives in ontario, after tax you're in for $1243. You'd still save a hundred bucks.
