I see quite a few americans with these savage .22's but I can't find any in Canada. Does anybody know of any places that got them in or can get them. They are both factory offerings not just stocks put on by people. Thanks in advance. Looking for the top one more than the second.

yes i've seen those savages at whole sale sports. something like a bbvts or some strange name. can't remember if the ones i saw were 17hmr, 22wmr, or 22lr, but i believe it comes in all those calibres.
 
All Savage rimfires are made in the old Lakefield factory in Lakefield, ON.

The pics you posted are limited edition colours. The standard colours are grey laminate for the 93's and brown laminate for the Mk II's, as you see them on the savage website. There are some stock makers in the USA that make aftermarket stocks for this action, but it is tricky to get them shipped here. It is possible though.

My local store (Gobles) gets in the standard Savage models, and I've seen the limited edition colours in the Vaughan BassPro.

I personally have one of the standard brown laminate 22LR Mk II BTVS models, and I like it quite a bit.
 
Ok no luck with P&D aswell as no luck with wholesale sports. P&D had the one in .17HMR and wholesale had none. Anybody else seen one anywhere?
 
Just phoned bass pro in Vaughan and they can get them but wont ship firearms you have to be present so being in saskatchewan thats not going to work either. Man who thought it would be so hard to find this darn rifle.
 
ask wholesale sports to order one in for you. one of the other wss might have one and can ship it to the saskatoon location at no extra cost. they'll phone you when it's in.

I showed them a photo and gave them a model number and they couldn't find one and never seen one before. Of course going in there is usually worse than getting a tooth pulled when it comes to customer service.

Thanks but I bought a BTVS yesterday just got impatient. But maybe I will have to buy that one too :D
 
Bass pro had them on clearance they stopped making them a while ago all they make is the stainless verson it's a varmint rifle why the hell does it have a shinny stainless steal freaking any thing on it

and if you can prove to me that you can legaly own the rifle i'll pick one up and mail it to you and do the paper work for a reasonable handling fee
 
I bought a Savage in 22 wmg at Lebaron in Markham, Ontario. Mine is a natural wood colour though. It has the thumb-hole and match-grade trigger group. Its a nice rifle! Highly recommend.

Call accuracy plus in peterborough. I saw 2 behind the counter while i was there last week getting a scope for mine. Not sure what cal they were. They are better on pricing than anywhere else i have noticed also.
