Did They Ever Import Any M1908 Mondragon 7mm Rifles Into Canada???

If there are any here, I could only imagine the value!

Would love to have one in my accumulation.....

I think the Canadian War Museum has one. I handled one in the USA when my friend bought one at the Tulsa Gunshow about ten years ago.

I honestly dont think it would be that much, the one I saw at Simpsons guns in Illinois back in 2014 was 25000$, and its still there 4 years later. I would think in Canada you would have a hard time getting to 10 grand for one, but I would be all in for 1000$, lol

Hello. Canadian importers rarely got high end guns for sale because the sales would be stagnant. However, there are (or were) 3 or 4 of these
rifles behind glass in the Martello Tower collection at Royal Military College in Kingston. A gift to the College (along with many engraved revolvers) by an important Mexican government official whom I can't recall. A lovely collection open for public view sometimes. Too bad the
CWM doesn't have a facility to display all of their collection but that is not politically correct presently or financially feasable. You'll have to settle for internet pictures. In today's political climate owning a semi-auto rifle may not be the best financial choice anyway.

Porfirio Diaz. President of Mexico.

I have seen one Mondragon that was privately owned/for sale in Canada. That was in London ON back in the '60s.

I found a top wood for one years ago, it took me a long time (several years) to identify it.
Its in my shop someplace I haven't laid eyes on it for years.
I know a gentleman that had one that broke in two pieces I don't even know if he is still alive.
I don't have a number or address for him so a dead end there.
