Die/Press Crossbreeding?

Does anyone know if I can use Hornady or Redding dies with my Lee Pro 1000 press? I have the Mirco-disk powder measure setup and was wondering if that would be compatible. That, or I may only replace the seating die itself.

Thoughts?

I've put my RCBS dies into a pro-1000 when I bought the parts to set up for progressive reloading of my 45 colt and 9mm stuff. I did buy a powder through expander die for each, however.

You might need an auto disk riser as well, if one of your dies are tall enough to interfere with the powder measure.

^^^This^^^ unless you are reloading for a 50cal all the dies are compatable for mounting into different presses.

I use RCBS decaping/sizing die and seating/crimping die on my Pro 1000. Much smoother than the provided Lee dies and i like the crimp better too.

Yup they are interchangeable, i have 6 differnt makes of dies that i use in the same press. 7/8x14 threads.
