Hello guys, I adjusted the rear sight on my M305 like you guys explained before and that works good. Unfortunately after only a few rounds, my sight is moving from the spot it's clicked in. In moves of at least 3 to 5 clicks by itself with the recoil. Now i'm looking to find a rear M1 Garand sight assembly because looks like everybody is doing it for a reason but what's the real difference between them. Why would the Garand one not move and the M305 moves around. Can you modify or loctite or something the stock M305 rear sight so it won't move? Thanks a lot:runaway:

dissaemble your m305 sight and clean it ,then reinstall and tighten. i found that i had to tighten a few times at the range untill i found the right amount of torque.i was careful not to go too tight as i still wanted to be able to adjust it.

the rear sights on my garand don't have this issue by the way,and the difference is that they are incremented in yards instead of metres as well.

Remember when tightening the rear site. Raise the aperature all the way up and tighten the pinion until you cannot push the aperature down with your thumb !
If you can push the aperature down with your thumb it is still not tight enough .You will need 2 screwdrivers to do this ,one on the pinion and one on the windage.
