Let's correct this. MG makes FMJ (open base) and CMJ (closed base). The CMJ's are closed with a plug of copper, as is clear in the previous pic by Dansy.
There is more than one way to make a CMJ. The 'other' way is to copper-plate a lead bullet, which is how Frontier, Excel, Xtreme, and Speer (although they call it TMJ) does it (with varying degrees of copper thickness and overall precision).
