Difference between CTR & MOE stocks

just wondering what the difference between the Magpul MOE & CTR stock. cost is about $40 difference.

CTR has the friction lock and spots for QD sling swivels.

friction lock? is that the first latch on the stock? is there a quality difference between the 2 stocks?

No the stock is exactly the same just the CTR has the friction lock which makes for a less wobbly stock.

The CTR friction lock really tightens up solid so there's no movement or play which you'll find in other collapsible stocks.

My MOE is so tight, the lock would be redundant.

It's not wobbly in the slightest.

He is right without the friction lock pushed down my CTR's are tight so its really not necessary.

I bought the CTR and sold my MOE stock just so that my #### don't fall off!

Seriously, the MOE is a great piece of gear also! The CTR has extra cool factor to match it's price All depends on your price point and how good you look in the mirror!

I agree the CTR is cooler looking then the MOE stock because of the latch. and if the MOE stock is tight then I'll go the cheaper route as I can put the cash into other parts.
