I've tried the search button for any threads on this and couldn't find one.
Looking at EE and I see that the used ones mostly start at $500+. When I can get a new Marlin 336W at Cabela's for $580.
Is there and difference in the craftsmanship of these rifles new and used (say 1980's) ?
I ask this because I know they are made by Remington and they in general have gone downhill a bit in craftsmanship.
