Anyone know if there is much difference between a 700 and a 700 XCR stainless receiver?
I may restock a 700 XCR and just assumed it would be the same as a regular 700 until I was looking at Boyd's site, and to order they list both 700 and 700 XCR. I'm not sure I'm going the Boyd's route. I have considered some factory stocks too.
I'm just wondering if some inletting will be required for a factory stock from a regular 700.
