I could ask this in the dealer section, but I think someone here may be able to shed some light.
I see there are two 16 " carbines with retractable stock
One is listed as M15A4 flat top carbine
the other is listed as a "tactical carbine.

Does one have a front sight and the other doesn't??

M15A4 simply means flattop receiver.
they have different barrel and front sight options.

Best to ask the dealer who is selling it.

My guess (yeah yeah) is your talking about Wolverine Supplies -- John and Pat will build carbine in tactical (custom) configurations as requested by the purchaser -- or they may have some pre built confgurations around as well.

thanks, I am just trying to price out what I want, a flat top with front and rear sights.

We all want pics now... even before you buy just to see what your planning.

A very simple set up, something 3 gun friendly, so I want the mag well to be generous enough so mags drop free, and is easy to load, have/ has a decent trigger, RELIABLE, has to be a flat top , so I can mount a holosight, and I would like the collapsible stock that is angled on the butt. (I guess it is the newer kind)
I have my gear from the AR I sold (big mistake), ergo grip, lots of mags (RG, and armalite/colt/ etc..type mags), with mag pull followers and mag pulls, an Eagel industries drop leg mag pouches, and BH mag hip pouches, etc...
...Just need a good rifle.
I am so tempted to hold out for that friggin bastard XCR, as I wanted something I could use for 3 Gun, non-restricted and that "reportedly" has a more reliable gas system than a stoner system. If I get an AR, can only use it for range time, but if I get an XCR, I can use it for hunting as well.
