Difference in P226 X-5 models

The X-5 has an adjustable trigger and the All Around doesn't. I can't see how that would be worth an extra $1000 though.

The X-5 All Around is on the IPSC Production Division approved list. The X-5 and X-5 Competition are not.....a fellow here in Calgary has one (X-5 All Around)....nice gun!

Hate to say that, the Sig X-5 is the worst looking pistol along all sig firearms. I personal think that there are many more other perfect choice for that kind of money unless the buyer is a die hard Sig man.

Thanks guys. Any recommendation for 9mm?

I plan to buy new, to own it for life (or until the politicians let me have it).

Are there better (usability wise) guns for IPSC?
I don't care much about the looks, as long as it is easy to handle in the
competition setting.

There are a bunch of different configurations for the X5 btw. The allround being DA/SA but while most of the X5s have the 5'' barrel, there are standard sized X5s( or X5 Short) which could basically be a normal P226 if it weren't the beaver tail, different grip and such.

X-Five Competition is a DA/SA
X-Five All Round is a SA only and does not have an adjustable trigger
X-Five is a SA only and has an adjustable trigger and Nill grips

The adjustable trigger is a Sig option quoted at $895 USD.

It's almost pointless trying to list all the models because they change them constantly and they have different names in Europe and the US.

But anyway, the Competition is the SA-only model, the All-around has the DA trigger. And the first X-5 had the adjustable trigger. The All-around is less expensive because it has the standard P226 trigger mech.

But there are about a zillion other options and models, tactical models with rails on the frame, versions set up for 1500/PPC etc.

Not only that but there's also the X-6, which has a 6-inch barrel (roughly).

x-5 comes from p210 myth. with sub 2" at 50 yards guarantee, only LesBaer's extended guarantee can beat it up:D
