differences between valmet and galil receivers?

I have been told that the first production run of galil rifles was made using Valmet m76 receivers. if this is true, what modifacations to the galil receivers would be needed to make them into valmet receavers or vice-versa. my cousin lives in the U.S and is interested in finnish weapons, and he wants to do a m76 build from a galil receiver because the genuine thing is too expensive. if anyone could do a side by side photo comparison, that would be very helpful.

I think you have it backwards. The Valmets are cheap in the states,the Galils are not.
 
i think that the gun he plans to convert is actually a bubba-arms goloni, not a real AA galil.
i am also curious because i had been told by a friend that someone managed to get a bunch of galil 80%s into the country and made em into faux-m78s, and i was wondering what kind of machine shop wizard would be needed to do that...
