Thank you :)

You can think of G1 BC like this...

Compare two bullets of the same weight, but with different BC.

one has a .250 BC and the other has a 0.500 BC.

Both have the same muzzle velocity in this example...

The 250 yard velocity of the 0.250 BC bullet will be the same as the 500 yard velocity of the 0.500 BC,

The wind drift in MOA at 250 yards of the 0.250 bc will be the same as the wind drift in MOA at 500 yards of the 0.500 bc bullet.

In your example these truisms will apply at 376 yards and 435 yards.

So i did me own JBM'ing on this, it had the default Woodleigh bullets...... basically, i got slightly less drop once out at 400m, an energy on target was higher or niticable past 400m.....

hunting situations, minor... but its something worth poking out the end of a 3006 thats for sure... esp for sambar, ..or elk... the higher rated 3000 fps #65D would ensure bone is handled, as is the 350m or 400m shot... or so without as much fuss if you do not use a 30-06 with a dial scope thingy majiggy.... or as a bush gun.

so thats all good.... sightin in ths week for winter stags.

For a hunter who shoots to 300 yds max the difference would be hardly noticeable.

yep 100% on that, no real noticable difference of one over the other really.

once ya in that 500+ an further, things slightly change but in the big picture its still,,,,fark all.
