So with all this extra time on my hands i decided to start few new projects. Here is the first one, ultra light .22 with some variable zoom. I made this custom stock and sourced an old scopechief 3-8× scope. As you see it it's only 3.5lb and feels nicely balanced. My range is closed so no chance to test it out, i will update this post once i do.
I know that this rifle is designed to fit into the stock and float, i have the original stock for that, this laminated stock set up is mainly for range fun, could be fun for the kids as well :). Let me know what you guys think.

Nice work
The Buckmark .22 rifle looks good with some wood up front, have you considered ?
First vision that came to mind was a vertical grip ala Tommy Gun

I thought about it, but it wouldnt be easy to attach something to that barrel, and it will probably complicate the take down process.. Its staying as is for now, i do own a buckmark already.. :)
 
Thank you guys, i will update the pics once my triple k mags come.
Also the stock will need few more coats of poly, hopefully some time this week.
