Ok guys, you helped me out with finding a full length stock for my ranch hand.got one from rusty wood trading,great service I might add.now, I'd like to change the sights on it.I really don't like the ones that came on it.I looked into Williams sights, but they don't make them for the ranch hand.does anybody have any other suggestions as to might work good on the ranch hand.any info would be appreciated.thank you.

steve's gunz out of TX has everything you need for rossi.
The ghost ring rear and tall green fiber optic front works great on the ranch hand.
I ordered them plus the SS follower, 3 weeks all good.

I picked up the Marble sights from Brownells. I think they were about $40 dollars shipped. Someone was saying if you became a member you can get close to a 10$ discount.

I used the following;
579-066-003WB #66H for the rear (I like the high sides if you want it to be more flat use 579-066-001WB #66)
579-105-732WB for the front sight .570"

The front height is critical, the rear site you can choose from the different types that they have.

Also, Brownells shipping selection is different. There is a thread on Gun Nutz that tells which option to choose so you only get charged 10$.

I have the marbles sights for mine as well, the rear bullseye sight fit perfectly but I can push the front sight into the dovetail slot by hand. Has anyone else had the same problem?

There is an extremely long thread about Ranch Hands and in there a couple people had the same problem. I believe one used a small amount of JB weld (strongly suggest you read the procedure). Another used a centre punch and tapped the dove tails on the barrel down to tighten them (again might be worth the read through the long thread).
