Both the mk1, and mk2 use heel relese type mags, but the mk 1 was a 9shot, with no hold open on the last shot, the mk 2 was a 10shot, with a hold open... I believe the mk 3 is a 1911 type mag relese. So my uneducated guess is posibly they are interechangalbe with the mk1, and 2, but probably not with the mk 3
