The old Radio Shack, now called the source, if offering a mini digi scale for around $25. About 2"X3.5". Capacity of 300g or 10.5 oz so not bad for measuring components.

It will read to a tenth of a GRAM. I just used it to measure some cast bullets. It was very fast to get a reading and measuring the same bullet several times, gave the same result.

For the money, it seems to be a great little gidget. Wouldn't use it for powder as it is not sensitive enough. But for those who want to wear cases and bullets, great.

PS Nexxtech 631-3014. Got mine on sale for $20 including 2X CR2032 batteries.

Haven't seen that exact one but I bought a Nextech cat. 631-3003 from Radio Shack a year or so ago. Works good with a max capacity of 3000g and reads to 1g or 0.1 oz. Not for powder but handy to "count" stuff with. Think it was $30 when I got it.

For accurate measure you should have a scale that measures "grains" not grams. There are 454 grams to the pound & 7000 grains to the pound.

It sounds like this scale would be of more use in the kitchen for food preparation. This would not be acceptable for powder measurement.

JS, seems to work quite well. I weighed a few items at random, several times. Always gave the 'right' weights to the tenth of a gram.

More then accurate enough for cases and bullets. Will make sorting cast bullets faster and easier.

I bought my scale from a small outfit in BC. Frankly I figure they deal a lot with the drug trade, but the scale is wickedly accurate and good for up to 30 lbs. The face plate is demountable for larger objects.
