Digital Calipers on sale

I have had a pair for over a year and so far have only had to replace the battery. I use it to get close when machining and they are plenty good for that. They are usually within .0005" of my micrometers and this is good accuracy for calipers in my book.

#58-6800-4 search "digital caliper" from main page and it will link you. My local store was sold out today.

I keep that pair at my work, they are good. I use this pair from Lee Valley at home that measure in decimal & fractional inches as well as millimeters.

Those ones read in thousanths of an inch (or 1/2 thousanths in this case). The ones from Lee Valley do that plus fractional inches, 1/2"-1/4" down do 1/128".

Take the battery out if you aren't planning to use the calipers. It will go dead sitting in place. Don't ask me how I know....:p
