Do any of you use a digital combo scale? Iam thinking about getting one. I was looking at the pact number three.

This might help. ht tp://www.6mmbr.com/powderdispensers01.html Haven't found a lot on the new Hornady thrower. Everyone seems to be backordered.

Another user of the Chargemaster.
Not fast but very exact.
I double check mine occasionally against a Dillon digital and so far its been 100% accurate.
Balance beam scales and powder dispenser and trickler dont see much use anymore.
None in fact.

I have been using the Pact combo for about 3 years now.It works good and I have no issues with it. You don't have to warm it up before using it, but you do have to recalibrate it if you change powders. It only takes about 2 minutes to do this, so it's not a big deal for me.

I'm using Lyman's first generation 1200 and if I was to do it again I'd look elsewhere. But over the years I have become used to the machine's foibles and have learned to compensate for them, and have developed a comfort level with it. A pal with the RCBS unit appears to have a better piece of gear.

Chargemaster is a great system when it works. I am recently sent one for repair that failed, and the new replacement they sent out was just as buggered.

I would like to know more about the new Hornady too, I saw it featured from the SHOT show.

I had the chance to pick up a brand new Lyman 1200 III for a good price. It turned out to be a big mistake for me, anyway. Won't work under flourescent lights, continuously turns itself off, 30 minute warm up- just too many issues. Will return it and try the Chargemaster. I googled them both and the Chargemaster comes out on top in every way. Apparently the Lyman III dispenses faster than the older ones but it still has too many issues.

By the way, guys, they are both made in China!
